A gorgeous LALIQUE "Pinsons" (Finches) Coupe Bowl. Prized by collectors and crafted by hand from artisans at Lalique, this decorative bowl is made from high-grade lead crystal that ensures its durability and longevity.

Created by Rene Lalique in 1933, and relaunched in 1951, the bowl showcases finches ("pinsons" in French) amongst brambles, flora and fauna - representing nature and authenticity. The Bowl displays a pattern of deeply impressed Finches nestled among flowing arches and decorative leaf patterns throughout the exterior of the bowl. These are done on a Frosted and clear crystal glass. The inside is smooth to the touch and the top Rim is polished smooth as well. The detail in the work is simply outstanding!! The mold is so crisp it looks like each Bird and all the detail was wheel cut to give this bowl its wonderful definition. This is a heavy Crystal Bowl and it rings like a bell when flicked with your finger.

Signed: "Lalique (R) France" in etched script along the outer edge of the flat base exterior. This styling is indicative of pieces produced after 1978.

Condition: Excellent Condition. Displayed Only. No damage of any kind (chips, flea bites, repairs, cracks). There are a few very minor scratches on the base from surface display wear - bowl is not fitted with felt pads. Signed on the base (center). See Listing Photos.
